B3 and Arma 3
« on: January 21, 2017, 03:31:20 AM »
A few years ago, I helped set up B3 for an Arma server.  Since I had never done it before, it took a few weeks of smashing my head against a desk to make it work. Now Im at that point again with a new server.  It seems to be a new error this time, possibly related to battleye?

Any help is appreciated

127.0.0.1:2416:2312

Is not a valid IP:port combo - you have one too many ports!

Also, your plugin_adv.ini isn't valid.

Check that you've set up battleye correctly, you need to specify a port as well as a password in the config file.

Ive checked that.  I cant find anything specifying it, is the port the xml asks for the port for the game or the port specified in the beserver.cfg

rcon_port in the b3 xml or ini needs to be tha same as rconPort in the BEServer.cfg

For a game server on 2312 I suggest using 2316 for the battleye rcon port

Figured it out.  The server was pulling from the 'active' beserver.cfg so it was using old data. Makes sense now that I noticed it  Thanks for the help
