I have mine set up this way:

Code: xml [Select]

<guid_banlist>

<file>C:\banlist\MW2-GUID-banlist.txt</file>
<message>^4$name^7 is ^1BANNED^7 (GUID-BANLIST)</message>

http://yoursite.com/mw2/banlist-GUID.php

</guid_banlist>

Just have a directory on your game server to write the ban list too.

Well, i must be going about this the wrong way, but, i made a folder, and a *.txt file.
Code: [Select]
	 <guid_banlist>

     <file>H:\banlist\Mix-guid_banlist.txt</file>
     <message>^4$name^7 is ^1BANNED^7 (GUID-BANLIST)</message>

   </guid_banlist>
And, it does read the banlist file on the computer, but, that file is empty ofcourse.
But, with your code for the guidlist, it only reads the local file, but, i just need it to read my remote file, the "guid_banlist.php" file.

Can the banlist not read php files?

Edit: Nevermind, i got it working :) Sick as a dog here, and my brain is not working as well as it should.
Thank you very much for all your help mate, i really do appreciate it.

as you are such an idea: to make adding bans using regular expressions for ban dynamic IP's?

for example:
^46\.20[0-3]
it means, that ip's:
46.200
46.201
46.202
46.203
are banned

this plugin is already able to ban a class C network. See the option force_ip_range for ip banlists declarations

I know
I added bans that:
46.200.0
but it is uncomfortably, when I need to ban many subnets
46.200.0
46.201.0
46.202.0
...
46.230.0

or I some mising?

Banning a class B network is too extreme to be part of official releases of that plugin.
If your situation is so bad that you require such a wide ban, then, I suggest you make the changes to the code so it suits your needs.

I'm sorry, I don't believe this feature would be useful to the user base for this plugin.
You would have to find a programmer that would be willing to adapt the code to your need. This is not on my todo list

Hello guys,
I am using this script for simple ipbanning and it seems to work ok. I am running aiw mw2 servers, and my biggest problem is cheaters with guid spoofers and dynamic ips. So i am considering to use guid whitelist approach to keep my servers clean.

I am going to write a script to create a whitelist guid file, that is the easy part. How do you think i should solve first timer guids since they won't be in whitelist file but they can be clean?

I seem to have whitelist working but it doesn't kick people who are not authenticated by that whitelist.
Is it not supposed to kick them? If not can it be configured to kick them?
