sorry I don't understand here is my b3.xml

Nothing is wrong with that.

My motherboard broke months ago and I've been too busy with work to even bother replacing it so I can't try the plugin with 1.10.1 I think it was still 1.9.x when I wrote the plugin.

this however bugs me,
130721 04:07:30 BOT     'Loading Plugin #22 q3login= [C:\\Users\\WG\\Desktop\\b3 1.10.1\\b3\\extplugins\\conf\\q3login.xml]'

Where does that equal sign come from?

in command prompt do 'find "q3login=" C:\Users\WG\Desktop\b3 1.10.1\b3\extplugins\conf\*'

set the password in the database directly. make sure to encode with md5.

otherwise post your b3.log
Help will be given to those with a b3.log

If drop off the map it is due to RL becoming busy :)

For the first admin, set the passwdlevel to 2 and set password for yourself. Then set the passwdlevel back to desired level
...

That's from the first post. I have to release an update and the update will have updated readme too. Sorry bout the confusing instructions.

Well i tried that aswell :P

Did find a solution(i think)
login with normal login plugin -> make new q3setnewpassword -> restart b3 without normal loginplugin

And that actually worked? Well I guess why not since codewise they are very similar.

Why wouldn't it work? Both plugins are storing the password in the database field of B3...

Well that's not why I think it works. I think it works because thy use same variable names so the temp group bits and use the same client variable name. Probably shouldn't have left it like that but I figured they wouldn't be used at the same time so why not. It doesn't matter really.

I just don't know why it didn't work the way it was meant to work and we'll never find out if it was just a user error ;)
