In cpanel, when you make an FTP account, it appends and requires username@hostname.com:password instead of just username:password.
For example, I need to use:
ftp://stats@myxlrstatssite.com:TheirFTPPassword@myxlrstatssite.com/status.xml
Since there are two @, it seems to not properly send the FTP login information and gets an access denied error.

The http:// part was added by the forum, but I believe it's working now by updating xlrstats plugin and webfront.
