XLRSTATS 3 and OpenArena / Quake 3 Arena
« on: March 30, 2014, 11:48:30 PM »
Hi,

(sorry for posting in the XLRSTATS V2 forum but it seems I can't start a new topic in the V3 forum?)

I'm running 2 game servers on my dedicated linux host: Urban Terror 4.2 and Quake 3 Arena (using the popular ioquake3 open source client: http://www.ioquake3.org).

I set up a B3 Bot and XLRSTATS v3 for the Urban Terror server without problems and now wanted to add a B3 Bot for the Quake 3 Arena server as well. After reading the forum I found a thread where someone commented that using the Open Arena parser (oa801) should work... and it seems it does :)

My problem is that in XLRSTATS v3 when I want to add a server in the dashboard I don't get Open Arena offered as a gamename at all. There is a list of games (incl. Urban Terror, World of Padman, CoD, etc) but no Open Arena / Quake 3 Arena.

Is there any hack/trick to add a server in XLRSTATS v3 that matches the Open Arena (oa801) parser or is there any other option to get Q3A integrated into XLRSTATS?

Thanks a lot for your help, I think B3 and XLRSTATS are a great product and I'm happy to donate once my setup fully works!
